Welcome to ConservationEvidence.com

The website aims to improve global nature conservation practice by sharing knowledge about the effects of conservation interventions. It is divided into three main parts:

  • Conservation Evidence online journal comprising original, previously unpublished observations. Each paper is a case study documenting the effects of a conservation intervention.
  • Summaries of previously published papers or reports that document the effects of interventions.
  • Synopses bring together the evidence for interventions for species groups, habitats or issues.

You can help by submitting case studies or summaries of the effects of conservation work undertaken in any habitats around the world. We welcome information on the effectiveness of what may appear to be routine management. It is easy to browse the case studies, summaries and interventions on the website, or to search for topics of interest.

OK, so we've been saying this for ages, but we really are about to launch a new version of ConservationEvidence.com. The new version will replace this one in early August 2011. Prepare for a different look and a lot more functionality.
